DUBAI, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday announced 822 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 30,307.
UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention said in a statement the new cases of many nationalities are all in a stable condition and receiving medical treatment.
And 601 more patients have recovered from the virus, taking the tally of the UAE's recoveries to 15,657, according to the ministry.
It also confirmed three more deaths, pushing the country's death toll from the pandemic to 248.
The UAE was the first among the Gulf countries to report COVID-19 cases.
